Three-Dimensional Modeling Service

In our method of creating statues, we first scan the client in three dimensions.Four million 3D data points are scanned per second, capturing the statue as it is. The 3D data can then be processed digitally. Fine-tuning of facial expressions and poses can be easily performed digitally. The digital data can be checked while moving the model 360° to see how it will look when finished.
Based on the 3D data, metal materials are cut and formed. Various metals such as copper alloys and aluminum alloys can be used for modeling. The size of the modeled object is determined by the size of the processing machine. We have large equipment.

The precision of our machined products is several tens of microns, so we can create digital data almost as it is. We can also produce monuments other than human figures.There are two major methods of creating statues in general today.The first is to commission a sculptor to create a clay model of the client. The client is then molded into a sand mold, into which molten copper alloy is poured (cast) to create the statue.


In the second method, a death mask is created, a sand mold is made based on the mold, and the statue is cast in the same way as in the first method.Unlike the first two methods, we use a third method to create our statues.We use a 3D scanner to scan the model. Based on the 3D data, we then cut and mold the metal. What makes this possible is that we originally manufactured large metal products such as the fuselage of the domestically produced H2 rocket and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We use this know-how and equipment to manufacture statues and monuments.Below are the differences between the two methods described above and our company's method.In the first method, the sculpture varies depending on the sculptor's ability. Since the client's image from the sculptor's point of view is sculpted in clay, the image seen by others will inevitably vary. It takes time and effort to match the client's image with that of the sculptor.
In the second method, the client is molded and the model is created, so it may seem that it is possible to accurately reproduce the person in question. However, in the death mask process, the client must be fixed on his/her back and hardening resin must be poured into the mold. In this case, it is also necessary to put a breathing tube in the mouth. Naturally, the facial expression becomes stiff, and even just lying on one's back can change a person's expression.
We take a 3D scan of the figure as it is, replace it with machining data, and carve it out of the material to form it.
